It is not too late at all. I started when I was 14, and was able to join the high school drill team. You will just have to try extra hard, practice, and do it full-out every time. If you love it, it will all come back.

You can check out the age groups in your local ballet studios but you are never too old to dance. I am 19 years old and i still do ballet. If your passion to start up again is strong then you should research a junior division of some kind. To get a warm up you should buy a conditioning/beginner dvd/tape to help you remember the basics. When you get to the studio you can show how much dedication you’re willing to put forward. Don’t give up!

its never too late to start doing something that you love. you never know when you start back up you might remember everything that you had learned from before. you should check out some videos and books from the library and the internet to freshin up on what you remember. try doing it again and remenber to have fun…

I find lots of these questions on here and the truth is it’s never too late!

I was around your age when i first started and that was with no former training or lessons and im soon taking my teaching exam!

If there’s bits and bobs you don’t understand it never hurts to just ask the teacher, or if she’s busy ask her at the end of the lesson just to go over a few things!

If you were 4 when you first did it you probably didnt use any other position than 1st anyway. Try and jog your memory and learn new things before your lesson on the internet, or youtube.com.

    Yoga will definatly help you!

    Good Luck!

I am also a dancer. I am 16 years old. I didn’t start dancing until I was almost 13. It’s not too late to start dancing. When I started, I didn’t know much either. If you don’t mind dancing with younger kids, its not too late. When I started to dance i was with my age group. It’s defedentally not too late; I am now one of the best dancers in my class. (not to brag) but I honestly am. Good luck.

    Hope this helps :]

It’s definetly not too late and you could try an adult ballet class and then once you get used to it then go on to a regular class
