I would say that’s a pretty good start. I would try to walk 3-4 times a week, though.

Sometimes the hardest thing about getting in shape is waiting for the results. It sounds like you are doing everything you need to do to slim up – exercising, eating right, etc. Keep it up, and have patience. It takes time for your body to catch up with your healthy habbits, but it will happen. Hang in there!

First off, you will not be losing weight with what you are doing. You will however, tone up, get into smaller pants, and feel better about yourself.

Pilates and yoga tone up your muscles. Building muscle will cause you to gain weight, as a pound of muscle is much smaller then a pound of fat. It will also help you feel better about yourself, as you will not lose all your fat (which is a good thing!) But it will help your body shape by sculpting underneath your fat.

I would not eat any less then that. When you don’t eat enough food, your body will start to store any nutrients it gets as fat, so you will find yourself gaining inches instead of losing pounds. Eat as many raw vegetables as you can stand, eat alot of fruit as well, and do have milk, cheese, or yogurt (not soy) every day.

Maintaining body weight is a good thing, and the best thing you can do for the long run, is realise that you cannot instantly drop 10 pounds, and don’t put yourself on un-realistic diets that you can only maintain for so long. Just eat healthy, and keep active. Some cake, or icecream, with friends won’t ruin your diet. Treat yourself once a week or so. It’ll keep you happier, and stop you having to constantly think or crave something all the time, which can lead to an eating disorder.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow:
