Go watch this little video on youtube, Pajama Yoga. It will show you how to center yourself to start each day - and be done with your yoga workout before the coffee's done and the toast pops up!

cooper

Yoga is a great way to relieve stress, becoming more popular by time in America nowadays. One thing that people should be aware of is that there are simpler ways to relieve your stress. It isn't so difficult to find relief of your stress when you begin asking, "What is it that is causing my stress?" Once you can narrow down these candidates, try to find ways to either avoid the candidates, reduce the time you must be around the stress factors, or find new perspectives and learn to enjoy the activities that aile you. If this does not work, try doing things that YOU enjoy more, to help your mind release that "negative energy"

                                                        Thank you for your question,
                                                                                   Paul

Savasana is the best asana for relaxing. Other postures may be needed for specific problems.

serrano

What has always worked for me is a combination of either intercourse, which ususally for men, works wonders.

But when even that is not possible, like if you are at your desk, I've found deep breathing to work great too. Take a couple minutes out to take deep breaths, holding them for a few seconds, allowing for the oxygen to fully saturate your lungs, then exhale, getting as much of the CO2 out.

If at home and you can do it, a form of meditation works GREAT. The only advice I can give you is to see to it that you can absolutely devote a minimum of 15 minutes to doing so with relative peace and quiet. I prefer to listen to music, soft eastern influenced instrumental, spa music, etc... nothing with harsh tones. Some aromatic oils on a damp cloth placed near you may help too, Lavender, Eucalyptus, etc...

Mindfulness Meditation manages stress, worry,
anxiety excellent and most definately helps cultivate much positive energy as well as virtues and qualities such as loving-kindness, compassion
patience and optimism:

I encourage you to encorporate both Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation into your daily schedule.
