well i dont have arthritis but im sure it could work. Yoga works the muscles against each other sometimes relieving pain so yeah. i think its a great idea. Go for it. But if the arthritis gets worse, you should check with a doctor and see what the cause was or is.
she can try the very moderate stage – and, plus, pay attention on the food that she eat. The anti-inflamatory like ibufropin and motrin and other kinds are not to be taken for a long time because her blood count will be affected. This could cause to some people to be anemic.
And other complications. Walking in the morning and daily stretching (yoga is a form of stretching). Maybe ask the yoga instructor which part of her body she should work on. Because sometimes, you have to make a path before you could get to the problem, you have to think this very well. Like a back pain – you don’t attack the back yet – but the sorrounding areas first. At least that was done to me. Good Luck!!
Yes, yes, yes, My poor sister in law has suffered so greatly from RA and about a year ago she started yoga!! She feels wonderful!! It has been good for not only her body, she is in a much better frame of mind, as she used to be so depressed from pain and just the loss of normal life. She gets out of the house more and just got a promotion on her job. She has tried everything for her RA and she is severe, diagnosed when she was 23, shes 46 now. This is the best I’ve seen her in years, shes even losing weight. And most importantly we went shopping almost all day Saturday!! hahahahaha
Tell your mom, good for her!! Hope she feels better as well.
