Yoga for the first time can be intimidating. especially if you are feeling stiff! Try some beginner Yoga with light poses such has the Warrior poses or The Triangle poses (link included below). Yoga is meant to improve flexibility. Most people don’t go in flexible. I know I didn’t! By working your way up, you will be able to do harder poses soon enough.

When doing yoga, always keep a water bottle with you. It sounds stupid becuase you wouldnt think you could get thirsty stretching, but you do if you are doing the poses right. I would invest in a yoga mat if you are trying to do yoga on tile, hardwood, or lineoliam(sp?) ect.

Lastly, don’t stress out if you cannot get a pose right the first time, or even after a few tries! Yoga CAN be challenging and it may be a matter of practice or building arm strength! Good luck!
