A beginner can do many yoga poses. Just go slow and breath deep, keeping your breath slow, deep and rhythmic. Always breath through your nose; NEVER through your mouth.

I’d also suggest purchasing or renting a yoga for beginners video. There are MANY of them out there. If you don’t like one, try another.
