You can easily cure this problem by doing the following yogic exercises everyday (at home itself) and you will see the remarkable change in you and you will never become muscular:
1. Arathamathesendrasan (reduces the folds on the side)
2. bhujangasan ( reduces the fat & creases on the back)
3. halasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
4. dhanurasan ( flexes the muscles & reduces the creases)
5. sarvangasan ( controls the whole body to perfection)
6. mathsyasan ( increases the chest & reduces the stomach)
7. nauli kriya ( the best for stomach)
8. mayurasan ( very difficult but best for the belly )
9. bhastrika pranayanam ( breathing exercise, very best and must as this controls BP, prevent lung diseases, increases the brain power, will never get cough or cold and controls your anger and other violent emotions, brings in crimson complextion to the face etc, etc)
10. sevasan. ( This is the last exercise and this removes all the stress and strain of all the above exercises )
Do all these exercises every day in the morning before breakfast and after nature calls because both your stomach & intestines should be empty while you do this . Do it regularly for 1 month with confidence and see the magic.
I second the pilates answer. Combine pilates 3 times a week with cardio exercises such as running, riding a bike, swimming, using an elliptical machine, etc. The cadio helps to burn the fast and boost your metabolism while the pilates helps to tone and lengthen the body. Pilates also helps with posture because it focuses on using the core of your body (the abs) which is responsible for your posture.
If you don’t want to become muscular, just do aerobic exercise, like biking or swimming. Yoga won’t get your heart rate high enough to burn much fat, but it is a nice change of pace. You might alternate jogging or biking one day with yoga the next.
If you want to have nice lean muscles, try a program of endurance weight lifting rather than heavy weight lifting. It involves doing more reps with less weight. I do a combination of cardio and endurance weight-lifting. My favorite tape is “Burn and Firm Total Resculpt”. I use 3 lb weights, and I don’t bulk up, but the muscle building exercise does help burn fat as well as make me feel stronger. Plus, with this kind of work-out, you see quicker results.
Go vegetarian, no animal meat, eat eggs and low-fat dairy products. Eat lots of high-fiber cereal you know the good ones! At dinner try pasta with fresh steamed broccoli or other veggies! Lunch a nice egg salad sandwich, carrot sticks or a nice salad with very little dressing.
Eating healthy is the key! Bicycling and swimming are best to burn as is skating or running. Be cautious about running, get nice running-shoes and run at the park instead of pavement.
Drink soy milk instead of dairy and try avacados they supply a complete meal and offer all essential good-fats for your skin! Drink lots of water especially with real lemon juice in it. This will cut fat and eliminate water weight and other salts from your body.
Hi Aji, Start jogging every day. Do set-ups for your tummy, and leg lifts for your leggs.Ride a bike 3 times a week, this will help your thighs and leggs. If you have a swimming pool or know someone who has,go swimming everyday. This my friend is good for your whole body. Get a routeen down and stick to it,if you want it to work. Remember the saying, ” No Pain No Gain” this is true. Make sure you cut out all sodas and sugars, and drink a lot of water… Spring bottle water is the best. Wal-mart carry it. You will do great if you stick to it. A Friend.
Sex burns calories and tones better than most exercises and is a lot more fun. I once lost 50 pounds in 6 weeks. All you have to do is have *** 3 times a day till you get the shape and toning you want. I don’t mean the 2 min sessions either. Go for an hour or more each time.
